At Trogon Energy, we recently assisted a client who faced significant challenges with their solar energy system. The client, who operated a home office, had initially installed a 5KVA system. However, the system was no longer able to sustain the growing power demand across all rooms. As a result, the client was forced to turn off appliances in some rooms to prioritize others, causing daily inconvenience and frustration.

The issue became even more pronounced due to frequent load shedding, which added more strain to the already overburdened system. Additionally, the previous installation was not properly configured, lacking crucial solar protection kits and using substandard cables, which compromised the system’s efficiency and safety.

To manage power shortages, the client resorted to using a backup generator. Unfortunately, the generator’s noise and fumes made it unsuitable for a productive home office environment. Moreover, the client was experiencing significant financial losses due to the rising cost of diesel. Running the generator for several hours daily resulted in escalating fuel expenses, with diesel costs becoming an unsustainable burden.

Trogon Energy provided a comprehensive solution by upgrading the client’s solar system. We assessed their power requirements and designed a custom system capable of handling their current and future needs. Our team ensured proper installation with high-quality solar protection kits, efficient wiring, and the right inverter size to handle the load.

The new system now powers the entire household and office without interruptions, even during load shedding, ensuring that work continues smoothly. The need for a noisy generator backup is eliminated, providing a quiet and eco-friendly energy solution. The client has also reduced their energy expenses, as they no longer have to rely on expensive diesel to power their home office.
